For over 20 years these projects with Bellingen Urban Landcare Incorporated. If I'd invented an ideal job for me in may 30's...this was it!

 

Working with an amazing committee of people dedicated to community and ecological well-being. Life-time inspirations. Thanks for so many lessons learned. An ever-expanding and deeply demanding project with volunteers, teams, contractors and public authorities to re-establish forests and waterways across multiple sites. Design, carry out and coordinate works, grant and report writing, media and community engagement.

 

These projects have slowly transformed Bellingen. A job of a lifetime. A million dollar project involving 500 people & 50,000 hours. Rubbish removed, weeds managed, tree planted, forests regenerated. A proactive practical activist community..
