Edible

Streetscapes

2011 - 2020

Edible Streetscapes are as they sound - public street gardens planted out with mostly perennial food and herb species, rather than ornamental plants.

Edible streetscapes are highly educational to the public, giving both food, food growing knowledge and a sense of abundance to all. The message is simple - local organic food can be grown almost anywhere – community resources that belong to everyone. This project with North Bank Community Garden, Centre for Ecological Leaning and businesses such as Kombu Wholefoods.
